As I started this process, I first started with some research of t-shirt design. After thinking for a while, I thought of some ideas, and I wanted something feminine. I took my ideas to the drawing board where I started to sketch. It was very difficult to come up with something simplistic.

I then took my ideas to Illustrator. I originally wanted something retro- which is why I chose the colors above. I wanted to incorporate a ’70s vibe, but it wasn’t working quite how I wanted. It looked like a lollipop.

As I finished up, I kept playing with the venus female symbol and just wanted something simple yet bold. I chose two distinctive typefaces which I believe to be feminine and bold when placed together. I changed this to just use one color, because I wanted it to be girly, but not too much.

I took the feedback from others and really just kept it simple.
