For this weeks reverse engineer post we were asked to find something with depth cues so I found this image on Pinterest. depth cues are basically anything that makes an image or vector show depth so in my image there are three things that I want to focus on which are the value change, thick to thin and big to small.

THICK TO THIN:

With the trail in the image, it goes from a wide ‘mouth’ to a thin one. This brings depth because of this it because it creates the illusion of going into to the forest on a hike.

BIG TO SMALL:

In the foreground, you can obviously see that the trees and bushes are much larger compared to the background where they are smaller and almost more of a shadow this is another way you can show depth cues.

COLOR VALUE:

In the foreground, you can obviously see that the colors are way more vibrant than the background where the colors are duller this is another way you can show depth cues.
