I have been wanting to make some really cool handdrawn stickers, and so I’ve been researching styles that I like. This sticker from CDA Idaho Clothing Company was exactly what I was looking for. Here’s what makes it work:1) Shape

The first thing that makes this sticker stand out is the fact that isn’t just a circle or a rectangle. By using the outline of the subject, the sticker becomes more interesting.

2) Shading

The shading is done on this sticker by cross hatching and lines. This still shows that is a hand-drawn look but still shows contrast and shadow.

3) Style

This sticker is consistent through and through. It’s simple, but the integrity of the lines and shading makes it appear  true to its hand-drawn style.
